Executive Director
CHUCK KIME
Chuck has dedicated his career to supporting and working alongside children, driven by a deep belief in the power of community and its role in helping families raise their children to their fullest potential. As a Director at Foundation For Youth, Chuck works to bridge the organization’s efforts with the greater community, ensuring that FFY’s impact extends far beyond our doors. He is passionate about fostering strong connections and empowering families to thrive. Chuck encourages all of us to uphold the rich heritage of FFY, reminding us of the trust placed in us to carry forward the organization’s mission and make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

Associate Director
ANDREW YOUNG
As Associate Director, Andrew is responsible for ensuring the operational success of FFY, with a strong focus on youth development outcomes, professional development and training, grant management, and the creation of organizational policies and procedures. He is credentialed at the Professional Level for Child and Youth Care work and serves as a trainer for the Professional Credentialing of all youth care staff through The Child & Youth Care Certification Board. Andrew is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and development in the programs offered by FFY. As part of his dedication to best practices, he ensures the full integration of the Developmental Assets framework into all of the Foundation's programs, enhancing the personal and academic growth of every child and young person we serve. His leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence help to shape an environment where both staff and youth can thrive.

Chief Development Officer
KARINA WILLATS, C.F.R.E.
Karina is deeply passionate about sharing the mission of FFY and keeping our community of donors and volunteers informed, engaged, and inspired by the impactful work we do. In her role, she is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to raise essential funds that support and sustain FFY’s programs, ensuring they continue to thrive and make a lasting difference. Karina’s commitment to cultivating relationships with donors and volunteers helps to create a strong, supportive network that drives the success and growth of FFY’s initiatives, allowing the organization to positively impact the lives of many.

Marketing & Communications Director
BRIANNA WOLTERMAN
Over the years, Bri has gained extensive experience working with children and youth, both locally and abroad. Bri has spent over 4 years working in marketing and has been a professional photographer for over 10 years.

As the MCD, she responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication plans that promote FFY’s brand, mission, and programs. She oversees both internal and external communication efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across various channels, such as digital media, print, public relations, and advertising. She works closely with programs to align marketing strategies with organizational goals and to enhance community engagement, awareness, and overall impact.

Business Operations Director
TOM BROSEY
Tom joined FFY in 2005 and has been responsible for the business aspects of the FFY organization ever since. He leverages over 30 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies to lead, manage, and continuously improve FFY’s business practices.

Business Operations Manager
TINA CUNNINGHAM
Tina Cunningham has been a valued member of the FFY team since February 2015. As the Business Operations Manager, she plays a pivotal role, wearing many "hats" in her day-to-day responsibilities. Tina oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources, and leads the Customer Service Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization. Before joining the FFY family, Tina brought over 18 years of experience managing Business Loan Operations for several banks, equipping her with the skills and expertise to effectively handle the financial and operational needs of FFY. Her dedication to the organization’s success and her wealth of experience make her an invaluable asset to the team.

Customer Service Manager
TAMARA MECCA
Tamara joined FFY in March 2018, starting her journey with the Boys & Girls Club. She finds great joy in her role, especially in getting to know the FFY families who walk through the front doors and building meaningful relationships that often last for years. Tamara is deeply committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both the families and the community. When she’s not at the registration desk, you’ll likely find her spending quality time with her three sons (#boymom), as family is at the heart of everything she does. Her passion for connection and community drives her to make a positive, lasting impact on everyone she meets.

Health & Wellness Director
ASHELY HARRISON
Ashley has been with FFY since September 2016, initially serving as an AmeriCorps Volunteer. After completing her service year, she was hired part-time in September 2017 as the Girls On The Run & Trailblazers Coordinator. Just one year later, in September 2018, she transitioned into the role of Athletic Director. In addition to her responsibilities as Athletic Director, Ashley continues to coordinate Girls On The Run and Trailblazers, along with overseeing the youth basketball and volleyball leagues, as well as the adult basketball league. Ashley is passionate about fostering community and participation, and she loves seeing both youth and adults engage in and benefit from the athletic programs offered at FFY. Her dedication to providing inclusive, impactful sports experiences drives her to create opportunities for growth, teamwork, and healthy living for everyone involved.

Athletics Director
JENNY STARK
Jenny is responsible for overseeing and managing all sports programs at Foundation For Youth. She handles the administration, organization, and promotion of athletic events and activities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Her role includes hiring staff, recruiting volunteer coaches, scheduling games, and coordinating various aspects of the sports programs. Jenny is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where both athletes and staff can thrive. She is dedicated to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude, helping everyone involved to grow and excel.

Boys & Girls Club Director
NATHAN LARRISON
Nathan’s journey with the organization began as a Teen Staff, and over the years, he has worn many hats, including Site Coordinator, Camp Counselor, Lifeguard, Teen Programs Director, and Boys & Girls Club Director. Nathan is deeply committed to being a voice for the youth and the community, dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and positively impacting the lives of all those he serves. His unwavering passion for youth development drives his mission to create opportunities for growth, leadership, and personal success for every individual.

Boys & Girls Club Assistant Director
HUNTER LARRISON
Hunter's journey with the Club began in 2015, when he started helping #ffykids with their homework in the Cranium Bowl. Since then, his role has evolved, and he now serves as the Assistant Club Director, where he works closely with both youth and staff. In this capacity, Hunter helps mediate conflicts between members and contributes to the daily operations of the Club. He finds joy in stepping away from his responsibilities to join the kids in a pick-up basketball game, creating lasting connections with them. Having considered Foundation For Youth a second home since he was 16, Hunter is passionate about paying it forward and providing that same supportive environment for others, ensuring they have a place to grow, learn, and belong.

Boys & Girls Club Program Director
RIDGE HARRIS
Ridge is deeply passionate about continuous learning, personal growth, and inspiring others to reach their fullest potential. An avid reader and music enthusiast, he believes in the transformative power of knowledge and creativity. His mission is to make a lasting, positive impact by fostering education and personal development for people of all ages, empowering individuals to unlock their true capabilities and lead fulfilling lives.

BBBS Program Director
KELLY BACKMEYER
Kelly has been an integral part of Foundation For Youth since 2014. She holds a B.A. in Social Work from Morehead State University and brings over 25 years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker to her role. Throughout her career, Kelly has worked across various community sectors and organizations, gaining valuable experience that informs her approach to youth development. Kelly is deeply passionate about helping all youth reach their full potential, and she firmly believes in the transformative power of relationships in achieving this goal. She is committed to creating an environment where every young person feels supported and empowered to grow. Kelly is also proud to be part of Foundation For Youth, an organization she believes in wholeheartedly. She values FFY’s unwavering commitment to its mission of inspiring and enabling both youth and the greater community, and she is driven to contribute to its success every day.

BBBS Match Support Specialist
LISA SCHOAF
Lisa Shoaf has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since November 2022 as a Match Support Specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and brings years of experience working with children in various settings, including through church responsibilities, school environments, and the 4-H program. Lisa is passionate about helping children build confidence and providing the support they need to succeed. She is committed to fostering positive relationships and is excited to support the Bigs, Littles, and their families throughout their BBBS journey, ensuring they feel encouraged and empowered every step of the way.

BBBS Match Specialist
LISA BROOKSHIRE
Lisa has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since February 2018 and holds a degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Purdue University. In her role, she supports both school-based and community-based matches, working closely with the children and volunteers to ensure positive outcomes. Lisa finds great fulfillment in supporting and encouraging Littles and their families as they take advantage of the many opportunities offered in our community. She is equally passionate about helping Bigs and Littles build meaningful, lasting relationships, viewing it as a privilege to be part of their growth and connection. Lisa’s dedication to fostering these relationships and creating a positive impact in the lives of both the Littles and their mentors is at the heart of her work.

Columbus Youth Camp Director
BRIAN CAIN
Brian has been with CYC since 2016, bringing a strong background in outdoor and experiential education. His passion lies in providing both youth and adults with opportunities to learn, grow, and build resilience through positive outdoor experiences. As Camp Director, Brian is dedicated to fostering community partnerships that ensure equitable access to the transformative benefits of the natural environment. Outside of his professional work, Brian enjoys spending time in his woodshop and cherishing moments with his wife, Leslie, and their dog, Cooper. His commitment to both personal and professional growth reflects his deep belief in the power of nature to inspire and connect individuals.

Columbus Youth Camp Program Director
ODALIS IRAHETA
Odalis began her career at the Boys and Girls Club as a Club Educator before transitioning to her current role at CYC. She earned her Youth Development degree from Indiana University in 2019, and since then, she has gained valuable experience working with youth as a camp counselor and in afterschool programs. Odalis has always had a passion for working with young people and is excited to bring that enthusiasm to designing and leading a variety of activities for camp. Originally from Indianapolis, Odalis recently moved to Columbus to live with her boyfriend. In her free time, she loves spending quality moments with family and friends and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking with her boyfriend and their two dogs. Her dedication to youth development and her love for the outdoors make her a perfect fit for her role at CYC.

Columbus Youth Camp Site Manager
LEVI CASH
Levi began his career with FFY at the end of his senior year in high school in 2017, starting as a Floor Staff member at our Boys & Girls Club. Over the years, he took on various roles, eventually becoming the Head Counselor at Columbus Youth Camp. As his responsibilities grew, Levi also managed our member-based after-school and break programs, continually expanding his leadership skills. Now, Levi is excited to serve as FFY’s Site Manager on a full-time basis. His extensive hands-on experience working with youth, combined with his diverse skill set, will make him an invaluable asset in this new role. Levi’s firsthand knowledge of the programs and his deep commitment to supporting the development of our youth will significantly shape his approach as he works to ensure the continued success and growth of our programs.

CYD Director
SARA DUNLAP
Sara Dunlap, a long-term resident of Bartholomew County, has spent the majority of her career working in the field of education. Sara received her Bachelor of Science/Education from Indiana University and earned her Master of Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent 12 years as a teacher with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation. She also served as a Career Development Advisor for Ivy Tech Community College, the 4-H Youth Development Educator in Decatur County, and as a Diversity Training Coordinator with Cummins, Inc. Sara’s education, enthusiasm, and love of sharing tools and resources with families in the community make her a perfect fit for this position. In her spare time, Sara loves spending time with her two children, Jackson and Emerson, as well as baking cookies and reading.

CYD Youth Empowerment Coordinator
FREDDIE KING
Freddie King, born and raised here in Bartholomew County, graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ball State University. After he graduated, he began his career working with foster care youth in the Indianapolis metro area where he taught youth independent living skills and pathways to successfully transition from foster care into adulthood. Freddie went back to school at Indiana University in 2015 to become a School Psychologist and worked with youth within the school setting for six years at Fairfax County Public Schools in northern Virginia. In 2023, Freddie decided to move back home to Columbus, IN to be near his family and sought out opportunities to serve youth within the community. He is excited to be apart of CYD to to support the goals and initiatives of the organization. Freddie spends his free time catching up on the latest TV shows or going to the movies. He also enjoys playing tennis, photography and spending time with his family and friends.
