WHO WE ARE

Since 1928, FFY has served an an umbrella organization, overseeing multiple programs that support the academic, physical and emotional success of our community’s youth, helping them grow and thrive as future citizens and and contributors to our workforce.

WHAT WE DO

FFY programs focus on helping kids develop the tools they need to thrive now and in the future. Through Trust Based Relational Intervention practices and our four cornerstone values, our trained staff and community mentors are committed to growing great kids!

WHY IT MATTERS

  • 47% of Bartholomew County students receive free or reduced lunch

  • 1 in 5 youth in Bartholomew County are believed to be food insecure

  • 57.2% of kids aren’t getting 60 minutes of exercise each day

  • 16% of students reported suicidal ideation

BOWL FOR KIDS' SAKE

GREAT GIRLS WONDERFUL WOMEN LUNCHEON

Bowl For Kids' Sake is a peer-to-peer fundraiser that benefits the Big Brothers Big Sisters program here in Bartholomew County. Held the first weekend in March, over 75 teams vie to raise money and win bragging rights. Trophies are offered for intra department rivalries!

Everyone's favorite luncheon! Great Girls Wonderful Women brings together girls from our programming and professionals from the community to enjoy lunch, listen to a prestigious speaker, and learn about all things FFY!
